abstract
MAG is a synchronous stream cipher submitted to the ECRYPT stream cipher project. We present a very simple distinguishing attack (with some predicting feature) on MAG, requiring only 129 successive bytes of known keystream, computation and memory are negligible. The attack has been verified.
